Witchcraft: A Graphic History

I just recently got my hands on the graphic novel Witchcraft: A Graphic History: Stories of wise women, healers and magic by Lindsay Squire (Author) and Lisa Salsi (Illustrator). I thoroughly enjoyed this engaging exploration of the historical, cultural, and mythological dimensions of witchcraft. This book dives into how witches have been perceived over centuries—often as wise women and healers feared or persecuted for their power and knowledge. The illustrative style reminded me of vintage illustrations and is perfect for the book. I recommend this one to readers interested in feminist history, folklore, and/or the mystical arts, it brings fresh insights into the lives of women who were often misunderstood, feared, or marginalized. The author, Lindsay Squire is a practitioner of Witchcraft and is the Witch behind the popular Instagram account, @thewitchoftheforest!
